This holiday weekend I purchased a 128 gig SSD and installed it in my SimPC. An HDD is a Hard Disk Drive, which is what stores everything on your computer. An SSD is basically like a thumb or flash drive you buy to store things on.
But in this case, an SSD is way faster and slowly but surely will start to replace HDDs in computers all together. They are crazy expensive but since they have no moving parts, and are memory, they are way fast.
So I installed one, used Norton Ghost 15 to clone the HDD to the SSD
Watch the video, you will not believe the results! Below the video I describe how I did it.
Click below to read how I did it:
Check this out! It’s a Sim Toolbar for your web browser! Very cool!
Works with Safari, Firefox, IE. (For both PC And Mac!)
Note: This Toolbar / App is part of the Conduit Network. In Safari, it’s not part of the Safari 5 Extensions. If you want to uninstall this (At least, on the Mac) go to Applications / Toolbars / and you will find the uninstaller there.
Fellow simmer and all around great guy @Claus1974 bought a new Canon Lxus 210 Digital Camera. He found the perfect way to test the quality and I must say, it’s a great choice! Haha!
In my quest to make the pedestal of my simulator more useful, I finally got the pedestal reworked and the 2nd 10.4″ touchscreen LCD in and working! Here you can see it running VoxATC, FS2Crew Voice Commander and the FSHost Client to the My737Sim Multiplayer Server! This is a real treat as it gets all this information off my main FSX display and into a nice, readable section in the cockpit!
